Shipping Policy (USA Only)
Processing Time
- Standard orders: 1–3 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding holidays).
- Peak seasons/promotions: add 1–2 business days.
- Custom/bulk orders: 5–10 business days (or as quoted).
- Order changes/cancellations: within 2 hours of purchase if processing hasn’t started.
Shipping Methods
- Carriers: USPS, UPS, FedEx (we may choose the most reliable/fast option at our discretion).
- PO Boxes/APO/FPO: USPS only.
- Signature Confirmation: optional add-on (recommended for high-value orders/apartments).
Estimated Transit Times (after shipment)
- USPS First-Class: 3–7 business days
- USPS Priority / UPS Ground: 2–5 business days
- Expedited (USPS Express / UPS Air): 1–2 business days
Estimates exclude processing time and can be affected by weather, carrier volume, and holidays.
Order Tracking
- You’ll receive a tracking email when your label is created.
- Please allow 24–48 hours for scans to appear.
- “Delivered” but missing? Check with household members/neighbors and your local carrier branch; then email us.
Shipping Costs
- Calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and method.
Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Packages
- Please verify your address at checkout.
- Returned/undeliverable packages can be re-shipped with corrected details; new postage applies. Original shipping is non-refundable.
- We are not responsible for theft after delivery; choose signature required or a secure address if needed.
US-Only Shipping
- We currently ship within the United States only.
Summer Shipping Notice (Heat-Sensitive Items)
Season: mid-May → end of October (and during heat waves)
- We ship heat-sensitive items (candles, wax melts, whipped body butters, balms) Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend holds.
- Heat-Protection Add-On (insulated mailer + cool pack) available at checkout.
- Bring packages indoors promptly on delivery; if softening occurs, allow items to re-firm at room temp (butters/balms can be briefly refrigerated).
- If heat protection is declined, melting/softening is not considered damage and isn’t eligible for refund or replacement.
Returns & Exchanges:
Eligibility
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition/packaging.
- Buyer pays return shipping unless we made an error.
Non-Returnable Items
- Opened/used and personal-care items are final sale.
How to Start a Return
- Email crafty.essence.hm@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with your order # and reason.
- If eligible, we’ll send a Return Authorization (RMA) and instructions.
- Pack item securely (original or equivalent packaging).
- After inspection, refunds (less original shipping) are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
Exchanges
- For eligible unopened items, we can assist with exchanges. Price differences and new shipping may apply.
Damaged/Incorrect Items
- Email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the product and outer packaging. We’ll repair, replace, or refund as appropriate.
- Handmade variations (e.g., color/texture differences, natural candle frosting) are normal and not defects.
